Adrienne Helgerson

I work with people of all ages in navigating life’s challenges, such as relationship and family dynamics, pregnancy and postpartum, parenting, working mothers, burnout, stress, grief, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, abuse/divorce, people-pleasing/unhealthy boundaries, and managing health issues. My clients seek a holistic approach that addresses and integrates biological, psychological, social and spiritual factors. They are motivated to understand and overcome past experiences, enrich their lives, and move forward with knowledge, self-awareness, and intention. They value a compassionate, knowledgeable partner to walk beside them on their journey toward healing, growth, and self-mastery.

I practice from a trauma-informed lens and have specialized training in Neurodivergence (particularly ADHD/Autism/Giftedness), Psychopharmacology, Self-Regulation, Women’s Issues, Veterans/First Responders, Mental Health & Nutrition, Fitness/Athletics, Anxiety, and Grief. I also specialize in supporting individuals who have been impacted by relationships with people exhibiting personality disorder traits, including those involving manipulation, control, or emotional dysregulation. I take an active and strengths-based approach, and seek to understand broader contexts of clients’ lives. I understand how hard being human can be, through lived experience in neurodivergence, trauma, grief, loss, cancer, suicide, and motherhood/special needs. We don’t heal in isolation, and I’d love to offer individualized care that addresses your whole context and multifaceted self. If you’re ready to walk with me, I invite you to reach out!
