What is online counselling?
The pandemic has caused a global shift to online counselling sessions. As life opens up again, and we resume in-person services, however, we understand that life can be busy, and people can’t always find the time for self-care.
We are continuing to offer remote, online counselling so clients can access services from the comfort of home and the convenience of a laptop.
We offer all of our regular services online:
- Anxiety
- Stress
- Depression
- Grief and Loss
- Trauma
- Brain injury
- Addiction
- Self esteem
- Identity
- Cultural issues
- Health concerns
- Cognitive disabilities
- Communication
- Healthy boundaries
- Conflict resolution
- Pre-marital counselling
- Marriage counselling
- Divorce
- Adoption
- Family therapy
- Grief and loss
- Breaking dysfunctional patterns
Our video counselling lets you meet with our therapists in real time, without sacrificing the face-to-face experience. Studies have shown that video counselling is just as effective as traditional face-to-face therapy.
We offer therapy through PIPPA-approved video counselling platforms (Jane Telehealth and Doxy).
The process is easy and convenient. You will be emailed a link to the online platform the day before your session. Simply click the link at the time of your appointment, and you will be directed to the video call. The remainder of the process is exactly the same as if you were in office.
Alternatively, we offer over-the-phone counselling for those who prefer phones to laptops. Again, the process is simple: our therapists will give you a call at your scheduled appointment time, and the rest will unfold as usual.
