Supporting individuals and couples through anxiety, depression, relationship strain, and life stressors — with trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming care for children, youth, and families.
Many people reach out for counselling because they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or caught in patterns that don’t seem to change. Anxiety, low mood, relationship tension, parenting stress, or the weight of everyday life can quietly build until it feels hard to manage alone.
You don’t have to navigate that on your own.
For nearly 20 years, I’ve worked closely with children, youth, adults, couples, and families as they move through challenges and transitions. I’m currently completing my practicum as part of a Master’s in Counselling. I’m also an adoptive parent, which gives me a personal understanding of both the joys and complexities that can be part of family life and long-term relationships.
Over the years, I’ve seen how small shifts in understanding, communication, and connection can create meaningful change — for individuals, for couples, and for families.
I work with young people, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I have particular experience supporting families whose stories include neurodiversity, adoption, fostering, and complex emotional needs. I most often work with children and teens ages 10+, while also supporting adults and couples who are looking for a calm, supportive space to sort through what they’re carrying and find new ways to understand each other.
My approach is relational and person-centred, grounded in attachment and informed by strengths-based and narrative practices. I aim to create a warm, supportive space where people feel understood, respected, and empowered — and where practical tools and new perspectives can begin to make everyday life and relationships feel more manageable.
Whether you’re reaching out for yourself, your relationship, your child, or your family, my hope is to offer a steady, compassionate presence and strategies that genuinely fit your life. If you’re wondering whether counselling might be helpful, I’d be glad to connect and see if working together feels like a good fit.
