Jocelyn – Registered Social Worker & Registered Clinical Counsellor
Jocelyn centers her therapy practice on the unique values and history of each client, specializing in supporting individuals with trauma and OCD. Drawing on extensive personal and professional experience, she walks alongside clients as they process and heal from painful life events.
Over the past decade, her work in community advocacy and family-based programs has equipped her with the skills to provide individualized, whole-person support. Having her own lived experience with anxiety, OCD, and trauma, Jocelyn understands the challenges her clients face and the value of effective, compassionate therapy. These experiences have shaped her relational approach and her commitment to offering evidence-based therapies for struggles that can feel overwhelming. She has received post-graduate training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and is currently working toward Level 2 EMDR certification. She also draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address the distress caused by tinnitus and hyperacusis.
Believing that connection is central to healing, Jocelyn creates a nurturing space where clients are encouraged to reconnect with themselves, with others, with their values, and with the natural world. She views therapy as one path toward wholeness and actively supports clients in cultivating relationships beyond the therapy room. Jocelyn is dedicated to ongoing learning, clinical supervision, and fostering cultural safety in every aspect of her work.
She welcomes you wherever you are on your mental health journey, offering empathy, nonjudgment, and a supportive environment to explore, heal, and grow toward a more flourishing life.
